About Me: This blog is operated by a female English teacher at Al Yamamah College Women’s College in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Its purpose is to raise awareness and encourage educated comments about Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. It also gives an internet voice to my Saudi female students, whose blogs are linked on the lower left hand side. The youth of Saudi Arabia, are the future of their country, and put they can best put their country into context for people to see. Professionally, I am a certified ESL teacher, and I also hold degrees in Journalism as well as Middle Eastern Studies. I have spent professional time in other Middle Eastern counties. I find Saudi Arabia complex and interesting, and I am not interesting in promoting my opinion alone, I am only sharing an educated perspective of an interested expatriate in the kingdom.
